AKRON- Summit County Clerk of Courts Tavia Galonski today announced the release of a Civil Pending Review website. The Civil Pending Review website gives the public the ability to access new electronic filings as they are received.
“This website is a part of an effort to give Summit County residents more insight into our office operations.” said Clerk of Courts Tavia Galonski, “While our office does approve cases for filing quickly, I am looking to provide more transparency to both the public and the press.”
The website will be easily accessible via a link on the Summit County Clerk of Courts Website and Facebook page. The website comes after a 2023 settlement between Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts and Courthouse News, requiring the Clerk’s office to provide access to new pleadings as they come in. The website features the ability to search by case type, auto refresh, and lists cases pending review at the top.
