If an original title is lost, stolen or destroyed, you can apply for a duplicate title.
You will need:
- Application(s) for Certificate of Title to a Motor Vehicle (form BMV 3774)
- A government-issued driver’s license or state ID
Our Title Office will issue a replacement title when you have paid off your loan and your lien was electronically removed.
